Final year thesis ‘Are Collections Safe? Museum Disposal Policy in the United Kingdom’.

POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN TEXTILE CONSERVATION (awarded with Credit)
The Textile Conservation Centre, Hampton Court Palace in affiliation with the Courtauld Institute of Art and the University of London, UK.  September 1996 – June 1999.  Final year projects:  ‘An Initial Investigation into the Cleaning of Historic Textiles using Laser Radiation’ and ‘Recovering History: the characterization and conservation of a ‘Coptic’ tapestry cover with pile border (a study of the use of alpha-amylase enzymes).  Winner of the 1999 Worshipful Company of Woolmen's medal for outstanding achievement in textile conservation.

BACHELOR OF DESIGN IN CONSTRUCTED TEXTILES (awarded with Honors)
Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee, Scotland, UK.  September 1993 – June 1996
Specialized in tapestry weaving and photography.  Degree included a 5-month period on an Erasmus program student exchange at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, NS, Canada.

Conservation and mounting of 18th C Chinese silk velvet Celebratory Screen Panels at the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach.
